The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Heritage Trust was formed in 2013 with the formation of the new Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. It is affiliated to SFRS, and is a registered Scottish Charity (SCO43929),
SFRSHT comprises of a group of dedicated volunteers who are proactive in the restoration, conservation and preservation of vintage fire engines, firefighting equipment and uniforms, as well as upholding the history and traditions of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
We help support other fire related charities as well as promoting the fire safety message.
In addition in conjunction with SFRS and Inverclyde Council, SFRSHT manages the Greenock Fire Museum and Heritage Centre.
